075 SigTalks | The First Thing We Have To Do Is Think

With your host, Dr. Carey Pabouet-Sigafoose.

Say, “Who, What, Where, When, How, Why,” and you will get exactly what it is that you ask for. Whether it is good or bad! It is just has easy to talk yourself to success as it is to talk yourself to failure. So, what do you want for yourself?

How many of you take the time to sit in the morning and listen? Listen to your thoughts and to let whatever the subconscious is trying to tell you to, come through? This is what we are hearing Dr. James Sigafoose tell us this week. In short, shut up and listen to yourself, you are trying to tell you something.

Every day of our life we get to change our story. We do not have to be what others think of us and our story does not have to end in any certain way. Sigafoose Systems, Sigafoose Weekly, SigTalks and Sigafoose.com are all about shifting your thinking. Choose to be your own author and write your life the way you have always seen it in your minds eye.

Where are you with your goals? Is your practice or your relationship or your body, for that matter, where you want it to be? If not, than are you visualizing your goals, I mean really seeing them? Do you see the new patients walking in the door and listening to what you have to say to them, do you see what they look like, smell the perfume that they are wearing, do you see them excepting care and even paying you for your services? If not, than maybe you are cutting yourself short. Take a listen to this clip from Dr. James Sigafoose and follow what he is saying and in a month or two of doing what he says, let me know how things are changing.

~ The Philos (Rai, Ryan, Chris, Antonio, Vin, and Bradley)

There’s something in this week the I am feeling EVERYTHING else hinges on. OWNING the PRINCIPLE of CHIROPRACTIC. and defining that principle clearly.
To me, in a nutshell, the Principle of Chiropractic is that the body is a self-healing organism that desires to be as healthy as it possibly can be from moment to moment. It has the ability to fix and heal anything it encounters, given enough time and a lack of interference. Chiropractic removes that interference so that the body is thus able to communicate with itself more efficiently, and in turn, allows for the whole to function at it’s optimal function. And as the body reaches the current optimal function, then that optimal is increased, so that there is a continual improvement of the person. This is improved expression of the perfection that lives within each and every one of us, which fights and battles to be released into the world, day in and day out.
Chiropractic is more than just about health, it is about optimal expression of the divine through the human.
Thoughts? Others understanding or explanation of the Principle?

Never before has an episode hit me so hard. One of the biggest points of contention between my father and I was Integrity. He said I had NONE, when it came to practice and well to many other areas of my life. The reason this episode hit me so hard, is because my father was RIGHT and now that I am more inline with my life and in practice, he is not hear to see it. Tell me what you get from this episode.

A cause comes from the part of life we don’t see and the “condition” is what the “cause” brings us to. Think of it as, “What ever you believe, is what comes to you.” Because what you believe can either build your practice or tear it down. Even saying you are tired all the time can make you more tired. Get it?

Talking about philosophy to other chiropractors is GREAT, but talking about chiropractic philosophy to your CA’s and well to anyone else that will listen, will not only further your knowledge of chiropractic, but it will explode your practice. So what are you waiting for?

It’s not what it sounds like, so shut up, sit down and open up your ears and your mind. If I can do this and grow a cash practice in Ocean City Maryland to 100+ visits a week, because I am listening to my father, than so can you.

Meet the Host

Dr. Carey Pabouet-Sigafoose

Dr. Carey Sigafoose, a chiropractor and speaker, is the youngest son of Dr. James Sigafoose. During his life, Dr. James Sigafoose devoted his time to speaking worldwide about chiropractic philosophy. After his father’s passing, Dr. Carey decided to continue the legacy of educating chiropractors.

He digitized much of his father’s work, and created an online store, Sigafoose.com, so anyone could access the incredible information his father had provided throughout the years. From there, SigTalks, a chiropractic podcast was born.
